Ireland is a great place for an escape. It a place you can go to for a short trip or you can make a longer vacation of your time away and venture up into Northern Ireland as well. There is really so much to see and do, that you won't get bored. There are Ireland vacations that come in the form of packages, but you can also arrange these on your own.

Vacations in Ireland are suitable for the single person, a couple, a young family or a group of friends. Some people come over from the United Kingdom looking for a party in Dublin. A family may want to hire a cottage in Donegal right on the beach. Some people decide to take a longer trip and venture off into Northern Ireland as well.

There are many tours available which can make life a lot easier for you. This means that you don't have to organize your flight or accommodation. You may also find a package where tours are available as well. It means that you will meet other with people on the tour. It is especially a good idea for the single person who is looking for some company on their travels.

Some people like to be more adventurous. There are many bicycle adventures available that you can get involved in. These can be fun and a great way to explore the country. You really get to soak everything in because you are obviously going slowly. However, make sure that you are fit because you will come across a couple of hills from time to time.

There are major attractions to look out for, such as the cliffs as you approach Northern Ireland. In this area, you will also discover the Giants Causeway. There are castles that are worth exploring and this can be a great for the kids to spend time for an hour. Dublin is a great place to mingle with the crowds and explore some of the local pubs that have been around forever.

A lot of people decide to invest in a package deal. It means that you don't have to do anything yourself, eliminating much of the stress from your life. If you go to a travel agent online, you will usually find there are many deals available. This can include the flight, accommodation and possible tours. However, there are people who prefer to be more independent.

Getting around can sometimes be more complicated in the counties which are more isolated. There are road signs that are spelt in Gaelic. This is the old form of Irish dialect. You will have to use your Google maps. You can also buy a bus ticket for a week or two if you decide not to hire a car. This will take you from the South to the North. The bus system is efficient and you can hop on and hop off.

The Adare Castle is in Limerick, and this goes back to medieval times which simply amazes the individual who sets eyes upon it. If you are tired of looking at these structures, and you feel like a little more life, you can head off to Galway. This is a place that many people love. It has a lively atmosphere with bohemian styled pubs.
