By Beryl Dalton

If the spring or summer season is right around the corner, then it is highly suggested for people to camp out. This is the best way to enjoy a vacation, after all. You can spend it together with your friends or your family members. Not only will you have fun with this activity, you can bond with your loved ones as well. You better choose Sequoia national park camping for your vacation then.

If you want to camp at this place, then pack the right things with you. There are things that you must and must not bring with you when you plan to camp at this place. Knowing them can help you have a good time during this activity. Here are the tips that you should know regarding what to pack.

First, know what luggage and bags you have to bring with you when you plan to camp here. Remember that this is a camp that is close to nature. Therefore, you cannot expect much concrete for this place. This is the reason why you should think twice about bringing rolling luggage with you.

Think what clothing to pack. Even though it is already summer, you can only feel the heat while you are still at the valley. The park itself should be a lot cooler, regardless of what time of the day it is. Since this happens, then you should never forget to pack warmer clothing in your bag during the camp.

There are toiletries and med supplies that must be brought during the camp. Since you are going during summer, be sure to have sunscreen and mosquito repellent during this camp. Adhesive bandages as well as treatment to blisters must be packed together with your medical supplies like painkillers and such too.

Since this is a fun camp, take some pictures. Bring a camera with you then. If you are bringing a camera, then you should pack enough films and batteries together with your other stuff. If it is an SLR camera, then you need to bring sufficient memory storage to use when you go on this particular camp.

You may do a lot of things in the camp. Not only just viewing what is in front of you during the day, you may camp out at night as well. Depending on your itinerary, you will have to pack the right items. For example, going to camp at night means you need to bring flashlights with you.

Be wary of bears. They exist in this camp ground, after all. Taking that into consideration, you better put your food in a lightweight bear canister. You can also use a bear-proof box as an alternative. If you use normal containers for your food, it will be easy for bears to figure out where your food are.

There are rules you have to follow when you are at this place. The most particular rule you have to remember is something related to our garbage. It is important that you dispose of your garbage properly. You have to pack it out if you do not want to dirty the place or if you do not want bears to come after you.
