One of the most admired holiday resorts on the Atlantic Ocean shores of America is Delray Beach. This bubbly destination is close to both the Palm Beach International Airport (roughly fifteen miles distant) and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (about 28 miles away). The municipality holds in excess of two miles of perfect golden sands along the coastline of southern Florida.

This seaside region has an extensive variety of attractions. You can find many first-rate restaurants in Delray Beach Florida, embracing the tastes of Italy in the Caffe Luna Rossa, oriental cuisine at the Bird Nest Tree restaurant and Caribbean flavours courtesy of the Cabana. Cultural aficionados can take pleasure in the exhibits at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. Nature lovers and birdwatchers can investigate the Wakodahatchee Wetlands nature reserve.

Atlantic Avenue is sometimes referred to as the Main Street of this village-by-the-sea. It presents diverse boutiques and stores in addition to more high-quality dining combined with a vibrant nightlife. The side streets leading away from Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove in particular, are home to numerous live music spots. The downtown area benefits from one of the warmest winter climates in America, making it the perfect setting for al fresco art fairs and exhibitions.

Locals and travellers alike can take a trip round the central district. You can ride the gratis trolley car to do so.The area's tree lane layout features some marvelous Art Deco structures.

Atlantic Dunes Park is a beautiful, clean and relatively quiet place, perfect for fishing and swimming in the clear water. Visitors might like to walk on the short nature trails through the sand-dunes and sea-grass. The area is secured by police patrols and a lifeguard service. There are some great hotels nearby including Crane's BeachHouse Hotel and Tiki Bar, Breakers on the Ocean and Wright By The Sea.

One of Florida's foremost art galleries is the Arts Garage, located at 180 Northeast 1st Street. This is a distinguished venue for several interesting styles of entertainment. Holidaymakers are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Gifted performers and artists distinguish the Arts Garage, forming a hub of Florida's fine art and concert communities. Reviewers all pay tribute to the prospect from each of the one hundred and fifty seats.

Another neighbourhood theatre believed to present a small taste of Broadway by the beach comes in the shape of the Cornell Museum of Art. Kids are welcome to get inventive with their individual artistic talents here, whilst their elders take in the collections of excellent water colours. The building that houses this museum was once an exquisite school house and it has now been fondly refurbished to the way it looked in 1913.

Sited in the renown Palm Beach County, Delray forms a section of Miami's metropolitan area. This division of Florida's Gold Coast region is in the Everglades. Delray Tennis Centre's hard courts are the venue for the Delray International Tennis Championships, part of the ATP World Tour.
